Atherion Records develops original artists through music, storytelling, visual identity, and innovative creative production. We are independent by design and rock and roll to the core.
Our roster is small on purpose. Right now we have three signed acts, with three more joining by year end. Every release gets a full team behind it: production, art direction, merch, and a marketing plan.
We built this site as the front door to the label. The roster lives here, the store lives here, and every release is backed by a full team so the focus stays on the music.

Hi, we're the Ashes.
That's us over there.
We've been chasing the same guitar tone for more than a decade, an obsession that has led us to write, record, and tour a wide range of rock and roll, both in our own name and behind other artists.
Formed in a garage in the outskirts of town and sharpened on the road, The Velvet Ashes lean into vintage tone with a modern edge. Our debut LP kicked off the Atherion roster.
When we are not on stage or in the studio, we produce records for a small circle of independent bands, and we sometimes design the sleeves too.
Our latest release was tracked in a room full of analog tape and borrowed amplifiers, a process that took twice as long as planned but gave us the sound we were chasing.

Solo artist on the label
Hi, we're Nyx.
That's me over there.
I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. Somewhere between smoky ballads and raw punk, I found a voice that fills a room without ever having to raise it.
In 2022 I released my first EP, a personal record about leaving a small town and finding a new one. Since then I've been touring the country and building the follow-up in a converted garage studio.
My live show is stripped and loud in equal measure, a single microphone and a wall of amps. I've shared stages with a handful of the artists on this roster.
The next record is being written in short bursts between tours, with demos sent back and forth between bedrooms, green rooms, and late-night parking lots.

Duo on the label
Hi, we're the Brothers.
That's us over there.
We are two brothers from a small mountain town, raised on southern rock records and long drives at dusk. What started as trading licks on the front porch turned into a full time band.
Twin guitars, close harmonies, and songs about the road, family, and the places in between. Our debut record for Atherion was tracked live to tape in a single week.
We tour constantly, both as a duo and with a full four piece behind us. On record we produce ourselves and lean on the label for the details we can't do from the van.
Our live set is built to move, shifting from stripped acoustic moments to full-band electric peaks depending on the room and the night.
